    i want to buy the htc touch pro 2 BUT not the U.S. version i want to buy the GSM version....

    long story short

    if i bring the phone into the U.S. and put it on t-mo..what will be the problem about having it on there??

    besides not having the 3G(since t-mo doesnt even have good 3G bands)

    can you please help me

    You should be ok as long as you get the non 3g bands. I am thinking about getting one and have AT&T but this phone is just too good to pass up.

    it should work as long as its gsm and unlocked.

    Just want to clear up three things:
    1. The US version is GSM/HSDPA. There will also be a CDMA version.
    2. T-Mobile does have 3G. It's just not as expansive as, say, Verizon or AT&T or Sprint, which is to say that it might not be in your area.
    3. T-Mobile also sells the HTC Touch Pro 2.

    As to your original question, yes the phone will work fine on T-Mobile.
