Out of the 30 something smarthphones that HTC has launched, only the Hero, Touch HD and the Advantage X7510 have the 3.5mm headset jack.

Well, that may all ready to change as according to Mobile Crunch, HTC has decided to put 3.5mm headset jacks in “the vast majority of devices” it will launch from now on.

It's like they released the Touch Pro2 and cringed at the instant rampage about once again including only the mini-USB and screeeeeech went the brakes on production. I kind of imagine a factory foreman yelling out "Switch it out, boys!"

I usually just throw out the headphone adapter thing that they supplied with my Mogul>TP1. It is about time for them to add loyalty and save on some accessories to be included in the box.

Totally, I'd never use that adapter, unless I were sitting at home. I prefer Bluetooth myself anyway though.
