News: HTC Merge can now be pre-order in India

The HTC Merge was just announced last month and will be ready to launch soon in the U.S. Not only will the HTC Merge be coming to the U.S., but now we hear that India will soon get the HTC Merge.

Now, India customers can preorder their HTC Merge, online at Letsbuy. The preorder price for India customers at Letsbuy will be 36,000 INR, which includes a 1,000 booking price, making the HTC Merge retail at nearly $800.

Although the launch date has not been mentioned, the HTC Merge is expected to ship within 4-7 working days after the launch. India customers who are waiting to get their hands on the Merge will be happy to know that the handset has both, CDMA and GSM connectivity to allow the customer to use it with just about any carrier.

Features of the HTC Merge will include: Android 2.2, Sense UI, a 3.8 inch WVGA display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording.
