activation?

I bought the htc home newegg.ca myTouch 3G, but I still can not activate it. When I introduce my Google ID, an error message appears saying that I have no data connection. But I have introduced a sim card from Fido with a given plan. I realized that this did acknowledge that the G3 T-Mobile, so I use the conn edge, I looked on the net to bring the camera, but nothing worked & # 233; to date.

Are you sure the sim you purchased can be activated with this phone? Are you getting a data connection in your area?
