A have a Sprint HTC evo that was purchased over the internet. When i called Sprint and tried to activate the phone they said that esn of my phone was reported stolen. If i unlock the phone to boost mobile will i be able to use the phone? Or is their a time limit for an esn to clear?

Phones reported stolen can never be activated.
