Taking a Photo
- Open the app launcher and then tap the Camera icon.
- Then at the bottom of your photo gallery screen, tap the Camera icon again.
- You can also switch between the main and the secondary cameras by tapping the Change icon.
- If you want to select the flash mode, tap the Flash icon.
- Adjust the focus by tapping the area on the Viewfinder that you’d like to have in focus.
- When ready to take a picture, tap the Capture icon.
Sharing Your Photos to Facebook
- If you want to share a photo with your Facebook friends, after taking a photo, tap the Apps icon located on the Viewfinder screen.
- Then tap the photo thumbnail icon if you’d like to tag it and then select your friend’s face.
- To select that photo, tap the Checked icon.
- If you’d like to tag and select more pictures, go to the next or previous photo by swiping either left or right and repeat the steps 2 and 3.
- To share the desired photos on Facebook, tap the Compose icon -> enter a description and to add a location to your photos, tap the Location icon -> to add the photos to an existing album, tap the Album icon and if you want to change the audience or privacy options, tap the Audience icon.
- Finally, tap Post when ready.
Recording a Video
- Open the app launcher and tap Photos.
- Then, from the bottom of the photo gallery, tap the Camera icon.
- Tap the Camcorder icon to switch to video mode.
- By using the on-screen controls you can zoom in or out, as well as switch from the secondary to the main camera and more.
- For more options about flash and other features, tap the More icon.
- Ready to record the video? Then tap the Record icon.
- To stop recording, tap the Record icon again.
Sharing Videos to Facebook
- After you’re done recording a video, tap the Checked icon.
- Enter the desired description of the video.
- And by tapping to Location icon, select your location.
- Tap the Album icon to add the video to an album,
- Tap the Audience icon to select the privacy options/audience.
- Finally, tap Post.
Using the Android Camera
Don’t want to use the Facebook Camera? That’s perfectly fine, as you can still use the Android Camera!
- Go to the Apps screen and tap Camera.
- Then select one of the following options:
- tap the Camera icon to switch to photo mode and then tap the Blue capture icon to take a photo
- or panoramic photos, tap the Panorama icon and tap the Green capture icon to take the photos -> your HTC First should be panned as smoothly as possible to capture the frames
- tap the Camcorder icon to switch to video mode -> then tap the Red capture icon to start recording your video.
- To switch between the primary and secondary camera, use the flash mode or zoom in and out, use the controls located on the Viewfinder.

Is there a separate camera that is only available for Facebook? Or is the Facebook Camera part of the app feature? Does it have any handy features to make you look better?

The Facebook Camera is just an app that makes it easier to share photos/videos on Facebook, but you can use the photos shot with it anywhere you want to.
