Setting up Twitter

Note: You need to have a Microsoft account setup in order to install Twitter.

  1. From the Start screen, slide to the left.
  2. Then scroll down and tap Settings.
  3. Touch email + accounts.
  4. Touch add an account and tap Twitter.
  5. Read the on-screen prompt and if you agree, tap Connect.
  6. Then in the Username field, enter the username associated with Twitter.
  7. Tap Password and enter your password.
  8. When finished, tap Authorize app.
  9. The Twitter account should now be setup and installed.

Setting up a Facebook Account

  1. From the Start screen, slide to the left.
  2. Then scroll down and touch Settings.
  3. Touch email + accounts.
  4. Tap add an account.
  5. Then touch Facebook.
  6. In the Email address field, enter the associated with Facebook and tap the enter key.
  7. In the Password field, enter the password and tap sign in.
  8. If you also want to use Facebook chat to chat with your friends on your smartphone, tap connect.
  9. Otherwise, tap not now.
  10. And that’s pretty much everything. Your Facebook account has been successfully added.

Sharing a Picture on Facebook

  1. From the Start screen, touch the People tile.
  2. Or if the tile has been removed, swipe to the left and touch Photos.
  3. Select the desired option (camera roll, albums, date or people).
  4. Then tap the album where the photo you want to share is located in.
  5. Tap the desired photo.
  6. Touch the More icon.
  7. Then tap share and select Facebook*.
  8. If you also want to enter a caption, tap the add a caption field**.
  9. When finished, tap the upload icon.

*Note: The Facebook option will not be available if you don’t have a Facebook account set up on your smartphone.
**Note: If you don’t tap the caption field, the photo will automatically upload with no caption.

Setting up Pandora

  1. From the Start screen, slide to the left.
  2. Then tap Store.
  3. Touch the Search icon and type in Pandora -> tap the enter icon on the keyboard.
  4. Then tap Pandora.
  5. Touch Install.
  6. When the installation is completed, touch Pandora.
  7. If you would like to set up a new Pandora account touch register for free -> then follow the on-screen instructions.
  8. If you already have an existing Pandora account, in the Email address field, enter your email address.
  9. In the Password field, enter your password.
  10. Finally, when done, tap sign in.

Setting up YouTube

  1. From the Start screen, slide to the left.
  2. Then tap Store.
  3. Touch the Search icon -> type in YouTube and tap the enter icon on the keyboard.
  4. Touch YouTube -> tap Install.
  5. When the YouTube installation is completed, touch YouTube.
  6. YouTube should now be set up.
