Checking the Amount of SD Storage:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Phone"
- Tap "Storage"
- The "Available" value is located under "SD card"
Formatting the SD Card:
WARNING! Formatting the SD card will result in the deletion of all data stored on it, including downloaded content, ringtones, contacts etc. If necessary, create backups before proceeding.
- While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "Format SD Card" under "SD card"
- Tap "Erase SD Card" to confirm
- From the pop-up message, tap "Erase Everything"
Opening / Deleting Files on the SD Card
Opening / Deleting Files Using the Smartphone:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Launch "My Files"
- From the app, tap "All files" > "SD memory card"
- Navigate to the desired files or folders
- To open a file, tap it
- To delete a file, mark the check box next to it and tap the "Trash can" icon
- Press "OK"
Opening / Deleting Files on the SD Card Using a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC Desire 516 to your computer via USB
- Swipe the "Status" bar down using two fingers
- Tap "USB Connected" > "Connect USB storage"
- In the AutoPlay window, click "Open folder to view files"
- Locate the desired files stored on the SD Card
- To open a file, double-click it
- To delete a file, right-click it and click "Delete"
- After performing the desired actions, click the "Removable Storage" icon in the system tray to safely disconnect your smartphone
Transferring Files Between the SD Card and a Computer
Transferring Files via Mac Computer:
- On the Mac, install HTC Sync Manager if necessary
- Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 516 and Mac
- HTC Sync Manager should pop-up once the smartphone connects
- To manage the files stored on the SD card, follow the on-screen prompts
Transferring Files Using a Windows Computer:
- Connect the HTC Desire 516 to your PC using the USB cable
- From the home screen, drag the "Status" bar down
- Tap "USB Connected" > "Connect USB storage"
- On the computer, an AutoPlay window should appear. From there, double click "Open folder to view files"
- Navigate to the desired files on the SD card
- Transfer the files between the computer and the phone's external memory as you see fit
- After you have finished, tap "Disconnect storage from PC"
- Safely disconnect your smartphone
Changing the Storage Location for Apps
NOTE: By default the majority of applications tend to store data on the smartphone's internal memory. You can set these apps to store data on the SD card instead, as explained below:
Changing Storage Settings for the "Internet" App:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Launch the "Internet" app
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Go to "Advanced" and tap "Download storage"
- Tap "Storage Card"
Changing the Camera App's Storage Settings:
- Open the "Camera" application
- Press "Menu" and touch "Settings"
- Tap "Storage" and select "SD card"
Changing Storage Location for the "Voice Recorder" App:
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Launch the "Voice Recorder" app
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Go to "Storage" and tap "SD Card"

io ho un htc desire 516 dual sim ... ma non trovo le voci che tu descrivi e quindi non riesco a gestire la scheda sd

PECCATO che nella Home non ci sia alcuna icona Internet!!
Tutti i riferimenti sono casuali e comunque non hanno nessuna attinenza con il Desire 516 (che é HTC).
Non sarą il caso di andare a raccogliere pomodori invece di fare perdere tempo agli altri ?
