Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 626s and computer
- Swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to view the phone’s files and folders
- In a second Explorer window, locate the desired audio files stored on your computer
- Copy the files and transfer them on your phone memory, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” folders
- After the transfer is complete, click “Mass Storage Device” in the system tray, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the computer
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access “Settings” and tap “Personalize”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “Apply”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal storage cannot have custom ringtones.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Launch “People”
- Tap the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound & notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply”
