Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the HTC Desire 326G to your computer via USB
- Swipe the “Status” bar down, tap “Connected as a media device” and enable “Media device (MTP)”
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click “Open device to view files” and access the “Media” folder on the phone
- Open a second Explorer window and locate the audio files you want to transfer
- Copy the files, and transfer them on the HTC, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” and go to “Settings”
- Swipe to and tap “Personalize”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Access “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap “Apply”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound”
- Scroll under “Notifications”, and tap “Notification sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply”
