Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the HTC device to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders, or the “Media” directory
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access “Settings”
- Go to “Personalize”
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “People”
- Tap the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Sounds & Notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired notification alert
- Tap “Apply” to confirm
