Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the process completes, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “People” to import it to your phonebook, or:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps, such as My Contacts Backup, which can create a vCard on your iPhone that can be send via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the file is done, send it to your own email address
  4. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Use “People” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the HTC device via the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, choose to send contacts and select the desired contacts
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
