Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” or “Media” directory
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Personalize” and tap “Ringtone”
  3. Select the ringtone you want to assign
  4. Tap “Apply”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: you cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Phone”
  2. Select the contact whose ringtone you want to change
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Choose the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “Apply”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & notifications”
  3. Tap “Notification sound”
  4. Select the alert you want to assign and tap “Apply”
