Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” or “Media” directory
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Personalize” and tap “Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
- Tap “Apply”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: you cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Phone”
- Select the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Choose the desired ringtone
- Tap “Apply”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Sound & notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Select the alert you want to assign and tap “Apply”
