Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” or “Ringtones” directory
- Once done, safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Personalize”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “Apply”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phone’s SIM card or internal memory.
- Launch “Phone”
- Select the contacts whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply’
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notifications”
- Tap “Notification sound”
- Select the alert sound you want to use
- Tap “Apply”
