Macsimumnews provides a tip on how to send and receive unlimited SMS
messages from your iPhone (assuming you have an unlimited data plan).
This may work with some other AT&T phones as well. The steps are as
follows:
1. Create a new email message.
2. In the To: box, type [email protected].
([email protected])
3. Type a message and click send.
4. The message will be sent to the cell phone with the number in the
To: box
5. All received text messages will be sent to you as an email.
They use the free service Teleflip.com to route your email messages to
SMS and back. The service is free, but only works in U.S. and Canada.
This means you won't be getting instant notifications of these SMS-
>email messages since you have to wait until your email updates. This
will be far less of an issue once MobileMe is deployed as you will be
able to get Push email sent to your iPhone.

Off course you can also send a SMS directly from any PC to you iPhone
using email format of [email protected]. If the
message is too long AT&T will not transmit it as an SMS to your phone,
not even a part of it.

I need to correct part of the above post. AT&T will transmit a single
long text message from a PC as multiple SMS messages to your AT&T
phone. I my recent test text resulted in getting the whole thing as
six SMS messages which the iPhone displayed as one long message. That
is pretty neat.

Can I use [email protected] SMS method to send a 20
second MP3 ringtone I created with Audacity from an MP3 on the Windows PC
to my Motorola RAZR cell phone?

No, visit HowardForums and look under Motorola for simple hacks to do
that. You can do an incredible amount of things to a Razr cell.
BTW to bypass SMS charges on the iPhone people need to check out the
new AIM application that runs on the iPhone. I see AOL has figured
out how to push notifications to the iPhone also without incurring any
charges from AT&T. I just got one for the USAToday News alert on AIM.

The GPS tracker and being able to see his messages and call log was extremely useful. Contacting them their solution solved the problem. They got back to me very quickly and their advice worked. This exceeded my expectations and is better than anything else I have used. I would definitely recommend it for such service Get in touch with hackerspyville {at} gmail com
