I canceled my contract in 13 days for sucky coverage and they still sent me
a bill for 300 dollars($150.00early cancellation fee) (plus my used
service.. TOTAL of 435 Dollars) even though I canceled their CRAPPY SERVICE
    with in 15 days..
I spent an hour of MY time trying to straighten it out at a CINGULAR shop at
the mall and they told me Customer service would call me and tell me how
much I would have to send them.. The girl at the shop told me to just send
300 dollars less than my bill.. I said.. NOPE , you will call them and
straighten them out.. I sat and sat.. and guess what ...? Customer service
never called me with an adjusted bill like they promised in 2 days..
I just got another bill yesterday for the same 435 bucks..

I refuse to spend anymore of MY TIME straightening this crap out..

Guess I will wait for the collection agency threat..

I would never use Cingular or recommend them to anyone..

    CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

With all due respect, that's not a smart plan. Why take a hit on your credit
that will cost you far more time and money to sort out than to work it out
    with Cingular?

I'll admit. It took me quite a bit of phone time to get it right, but
    it did pay off.

    Isn't that Verizon's catch line?

because he's obviously making up some or all of the story, although my
    vote is for the first.

He's pissed. Don't expect him to be accurate with his corporate catch
    phrases.
