mp3 to ringtone?

I just got my Moto V557, I also bought Datapilot sync kit, but the Datapilot
only will send midi, not mp3.

What software can I use to crop and send mp3 files to my phone? Should I get
the Moto sync software, will that send mp3's to my phone?

'Audacity' to edit audio. (Free)

'LameMP3' to encode. (Free)

USB Bluetooth adapter to transfer.
