I switched two lines, one from ATT and one Cingular. Although the Verizon
[art is all done and phones can call out, neither ATT nor Cingular have
    released the numbers.

I wonder if there is an ATT or Cingular number to call to ***** and maybe
    speed the process.

If you find one for Cingular, let me know. I'm waiting for Cingular
(old BellSouth Mobility DCS) to release my number to Verizon.

A number for AT&T's Port Admin Group is 800-241-0558, when connected,
just punch a few zeroes to get a live person, or atleast put into a
queue. If you follow the menu propmts, it will take you to either
AT&T Cust Service or their Sales Dept.

I am having the same problem. Signed up with Verizon on Tues and AT&T
    has not released the numbers.

Ignoring his agents wishes,[email protected] (Jason) flung open the
hotel room door and announced to the gathering crowd:

I assume you called AT&T to find out the problem. Apparently calling
them has done little to help? I'm curious as to what their excuse is
for people to wait 5 or more days (today is the fifth day I've been
waiting) and *still* our numbers have not been released.
