If you liked your T68i, then why not go for a T610. It's a really great
phone; the predecessor of the T68i if you like.

    Don't go with a Nokia :-)

I've just been through the upgrade path myself and chose a Z600. It's
fantastic, with easy to use buttons, clear menus and great design. If you're
used to not having a clamshell phone, it will almost sell that design to
you. The screen as far as I can tell from the literature though, is the same
as that on the t610 (excluding the small external screen). Otherwise, the
two phones are very similar, and it comes down to your preferences for
clamshell vs. normal and the price of the two units.

I enjoy all the connectivity options that are available on it, and in the
end I went for a phone with big enough buttons for it to be useful for me
(I've got big hands). The whole unit is pretty compact however, and it will
slip into a pocket nicely. Having not had a T68i myself, I can't tell you
how similar the menus are, but they are nice and easy for me to use. Once
you've spent the first few days playing with it, you'll have it all worked
out anyway. Nokia menus are a bit hard to go back to after an Ericsson,
    though!

Summary: Z600 and T610 are both great phones, with plenty of options and
great screens. I chose the Z600 because the design appealed to me more, but
I'm sure I would have been happy with either.

    Hope that helps a bit!

IIRC, the T630 & Z600 share the same TFT screen technology that is
reportedly readable under sunny conditions, unlike the T610 which can't.
Probably the main reason for the T630. None take external memory. The
Z600 has better RF performance than the T610 according to one review.

I had a look through my literature here on both phones (off the
Sony-Ericsson Australia webpage) and it claims that both phones have 128x160
pixel, 65,536 colour LCD displays. The screen isn't that bright in outside
conditions, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It's usuable, and from memory,
my friend's phone looks about the same. Can't wait to see more OLED displays
on consumer products, they're great in outdoors/bright conditions (my Kodak
    LS633 is beautiful!)

Can't comment on the RF performance, except to say that I'm getting better
coverage than with my old R310s. That's like comparing engine performance of
a Formula 1 car to a Honda Civic, though!

Although the phones have 128x160, 65k colour displays, the T610 is an STN
(passive matrix) screen, the Z600 is TFD, and the T630 is TFT (active
matrix). There is an additional layer of protection glass on the T630.

Thanks for that, I didn't know. I suspected there might be a difference, but
didn't have any way of finding out except for the info I'd already printed
    out!
