R520m love

GUUH

Some time after Christmas I went to see a U2 tribute band, and afterwards
(in a drunken and bored state waiting for a taxi) I managed to destroy the
beautiful lightning copper finish by chewing it off.

I am so distraught that I just ordered another copper R520m, because it's
the best phone ever :-)

Anyhow. I quite fancy buying some kind of in-car kit for my new R520m,
but I don't really use the phone enough to warrant buying a car kit like
the HCA-10 or HCA-20. The calls I make in my car will inevitably be short
and along the lines of "STOP BLOODY CALLING ME BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO
DRIVE!! RAAAAAHHHGGGHHGH!!"

So I was thinking about the HCA-30 car holder <http://tinyurl.com/yuwkh>.
Anyone used one of these bad boyzzzz? Is it pretty good for short calls?
Do you need to press any buttons to answer the phone?

Why don't you consider a Bluetooth headset? That's what I did,
first HBH-15, now HBH-30. Works really fine, at least for me, and
comes also handy when having a phone call and using the computer
at the same time.

To be honest, I can't justify buying a bluetooth headset. The starting
prices are 5 times more than the car holder, and I also think scrambling
around to put the headset on in rush hour traffic would be as dangerous
as.. oh, I dunno... trying to control the clutch with my willy while doing
75mph on a motorway. :-)

That's all a matter of experience. HBH-15 was extremely simple, but
now HBH-30 is all the same.

But as a backup (when headset battery runs low) I use the wired
earpiece. How about that?

I use cark-91's and I think I really want a BT speakerphone in the car.
Consensus is use the BT headset.

Yes.

Sorry, no, for a very simple reason: /// was the first to offer BT
phones here in Austria, and so they were the first to offer BT
headsets over here. HBH-15 inconvenience was a rather low standby
time and the fact that you needed its craddle to charge it. HBH-30
now is quite OK (except for mounting, which is quite a hassle
compared to HBH-15, but now I'm quite used to it), so I never
tried any other device.

Ther's another reason that is so evident I didn't think of it: For
another BT headset I'd need another charger & an extra car charger.
