P800: new contacts not available for text message

hi

i use a P800 SE phone. when i add a new contact, it doesnt appear in the
contact list i get when i want to send a text message or a mms. i copied the
contact on the sim card, too.

the new contact ONLY appears in the application "contacts".

what's the trick?

any help appreciated

When sending SMS or MMS, your contacts' numbers will only appear if you have
saved them as 'mobile' numbers. Make sure the numbers you've saved appear
next to the cell phone icon and voila!
