    Hi,

I've know how to turn up the volume, the handsfree and in-car volume.
But where do I go to crank up the alarm volume?

I had the same issue with the P900, I don't think there is a volume setting
for the alarm. So I made my own "beep beeeeeep" sound using a freeware tone
generator / audio editing app, amplified it to a really loud level, saved it
out as a 16bps mp3, uploaded it to the phone (just a few kb in size) and set
it as the default alarm sound.
    Nice, loud alarm : )

Nice one. Where would I find this app?

Two basic but good, freeware audio editors are Audacity, which you can find
here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/, and Wavepad, which you can find
together with a tone generator here
http://www.nch.com.au/action/index.html#106. My favorite is Audacity but
they can both do the job and much more.

Sorry about the late reply, I hope this is still helpful information.

On the P900, the alarm volume will be set by the ring volume (under sounds
    and alerts, control panel).
