Just wondering how long it should take to upgrade the firmware on my T610. I
went to the Carphone Warehouse a few weeks ago and the engineer said it woud
be ready in 6 hours, i think there were technical problems with upgrading
but this seemed an awfully long time so I didn't get it done. Is it?

    Thanks in advance.

It takes only a few minutes.

It takes between 5 and 20 minutes depending on just what needs flashing and
what equipment is used. Depending on how busy the "engineer" is, 6 hours
ranges from not bad, to way too long - take your pick.

Once took a T68i to CPW to get it flashed. Came back with same F/W it went
in with which apparently is the first version. Went next morning and it only
took about 20 minutes for them to download and flash it. I'm guessing they
couldn't be bothered to connect a cable to my phone and flash it, thinking I
wouldn't know or care about the difference, and that they could go home
    early or something.
