I have a new SE T637 phone. I'd like to have incoming calls
automatically forwarded to my home phone number whenever I'm home. Is
it possible to have the phone sense that I'm home by plugging it into
a charging cradle? Or by having it in the vicinity of a specific
Bluetooth device? And then once the phone senses one of these
conditions, how would I have it automatically go into call forward
mode to a specific phone number?
Thanks in advance.

Investigate the CSS-20 desktop stand (and I think that there are another
couple of similar stands that they have too)
When the phone is plugged in, it switches to "Car" profile. You can then
set up individual forwarding for that profile as well as certain other
settings.

Thanks. This sounds like just what I'm after, but I don't know where
to investigate the CSS-20 as you suggest. The SonyEricsson website
just describes it as a speakerphone/synchronization device, with no
details available.
Does anyone out there own a CSS-20 (or other charging cradle), and can
confirm that it will allow me to forward calls as described above?
Thanks.

I do!
It definately works with a T68i, because I have forwarded calls to
another mobile when it is off the charger, but receive them when it is
on the CSS-20. In my Car profile, I have it to cancel all diverts.
I recall it working similar on a T610, but havn't used it for that purpose.
I don't have any experience with the Z600, but I believe it works the
same way.

Why don't you ask Sony Ericsson? They have an online help site where you
can email questions. If you don't need the speakerphone functionality of
the CSS-20, then they might be able to suggest other desk stands that
have similar "in car" functionality.

Sorry, from your suggestion to "investigate" the CSS-20, I wrongly
assumed you weren't certain yourself.

Too bad no one answered his question. It would be nice if I could set
the phone to go into Home or Office rather than In Car, but I could
probably work around that.

Good idea. I'll do so right away. And thanks for your help.
