Hi,
does anyone know where to get a GSM network monitor for a SE P900
(K700i)? Does such exist at all?
Cheers,
Horst

Sman v. 1.3 has the ability to tell you which base stations you are
hearing, and also trigger an alarm when you enter/leave a base station.
If that is what you are looking for, it exists for the P800 and P900.

Re: P900 GSM network monitor?
Why o Why o Why do people want NetMon on there phones??
I have it on a 6310i but I work as a telecoms engineer and use it for
monitoring calls, locking onto sites etc but cant really see why people have
a fasination with it. Especially when most of the screens mean absolutly
nothing unless you are sat infront of the BTS or are speaking to the guys
controling the BTS.
Why?

Before marriage, a man yearns for the woman he loves. After marriage, the 'Y' becomes silent.

Re: P900 GSM network monitor?
There are more people working in telecom than just the guys in front of
the BTS.....;-) And since the "official" netmon terminals are sold for
ridiculous prices - if at all - it is always worth to check if someone
managed to find a work around. There must be more than Nokia Netmon and
TEMS......

Horst

This is very true, but if they worked in telecoms and need a phone with
NetMon (field test) or a TEMS logger then they would be issued one wouldnt
they?

Let's say like this: I am somewhat reluctant - and so is my company - to
buy such for some very rare occasions I would need it. On the other
hand our techies will never ever borrow me one of theit favourite toys
because I am not a member of the gang....;-)
