I'm trying to move files from my laptop to my Samsung E105 through
infrared. I can get the phone to connect to the laptop but when I try
to send the file I get an error saying the phone refused to accept the
file. Has anyone got this to work?
I'm sure this is going to involve me buying some $80 accessory.
Thanks.

EasyGPRS
You can download EasyGPRS from the Samsung.com site. You can find it at this page:
http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/n...stLevel4=66714
(Hope that works)
With this software you can:
- Copy phone book entries, SMS messages, and organizer data to/from the computer, phone memory, and SIM memory
- Send SMS messages (Even to huge groups)
- Use the phone as a modem (With the proper network link from the provider)
- Send Wallpaper and Ring Tones to the phone for free (Custom pictures! Whee!)
And probably a few other things. Not sure.
The features of the software that are greyed out are disabled because the phone itself doesn't support them. if you want an animation on the phone, use an animated GIF, not the editor thingy.

Re: Samsung E105 Infrared
Do you the file type of the phonebook in e105?
I installed the EasyGPRS and was able to have my computer and phone
talk to each other when I activated the infrared signal. However, when
I tried to send the .mdb (my phonebook which is MS access's extension,
I believe) file from the EasyGPRS directory, the transfer program just
won't do it.
Please help.
