Troubleshoot T630 bluetooth connection with a laptop

I am trying to sync my Sony Ericsson T630 with my Dell Latitude D505
laptop through bluetooth. The Sony software won't recognize my phone
and when I try to sync through the laptopo's software the phone stops
responding!!!

Any ideas on that?

Well its hard to guess what the problem is. What OS do you have? XP? do you have SP2??? Which dongle are you using etc etc etc
