T610 problem

Hi,

My wife just got one of these on Ebay. It was locked to O2. I've got a new
o2 pay as you go sim, and am trying to set up the thing to send emails.

I've been to the O2 website to download the settings for the phone, and they
appear to be sent. It's at this point things become unclear. Apparently I'm
supposed to activate a profile, but I can't see it on any of the menu's. The
error message I'm getting when I try to send an email is "cannot connect to
server gprs parameter not supported".

Anyone got any clues? The phone works fine for making and recieving phone
calls, and the person in carphone warehouse assured my that it is the
correct sim to be able to send emails with.

They might have been sent, but have they been received by the phone? When
they're received you should be prompted to save them.

You have to set GPRS parametars and E-mail parameters.
