s700i mp3 hell!

Hello friends

I Have a s700i which i have bluetoothed some mp3 files onto. these play fine
but the phone won't allow me to use them s ringtones. Anybody got any ideas
how to get around this?

It seems you have a S700 with custom firmware from your provider, Vodafone perhaps...
They did that to force you to buy the ringtone through them. It needs DRM (digital rights management) encoding, thus you'll be able
to select it as a ringtone, but you wont be able afterwards to send it to someone, not even to your own pc.
DRM software can be downloaded, try Google for DRM SonyEricsson.
Program is free.

Or flash your phone with original SE firmware...
