connection/synchronization SonyEricsson K750i to PC via USB cable

Dear all
I cannot get the K750i to connect to my PC (runs Win XP) for
synchronization. The drive is there and I can see the folders on the
memory card. But SonyEricsson File Mangers says not connected and the
synchronization options do not respond. The Phone Manger does not see
the phone either.
I did try to download all software from the SonyEricsson website
(suite, USB driver, Update driver) - nothing helped.
Does anybody know a solution?

dont bother with the sony software try this works for me and my k750i+1gb

Dear djlewis
Thank you - that works right away - but I want my mobile to synchronize
with Outlook, and that seems not to be an option in MyPhoneExplorer.
