I got a 2GB Sony Pro Duo in my w800i (same phone) - and it works a treat !
I had a 750i - but it sucks in the hand.
Mind, got a good price for it on eGay (UKP 148 - not bad second hand !).

Ive got a 1gb card, althrough it is slightly slow on menu options
compared to a half gig card, it still works a treat and does the job.
Usually its slow saving photos but it seems fine for mp3's
