K500i Trouble

Just over a year ago I bought a k500i to replace my old phone. Having
seen the phone my sister bought the same one a month later. (January
17th 2005).

My sister's phone has been fine until today when it developed a
problem. When she turns it on the screen just continually flashes white
and then goes dark, alternating every 2 seconds or so. She said she
recieved a message with garbage in it before the trouble started.

Could a text message somehow have messed up the phone or is it just the
case of being dropped 1 too many times ?

was tht a flash msg..........hehehe! dropping the phone may effect a
flap phone but not ur's .....
