Hi, I have a synchronizing problem:
If I have a whole day appointment in outlook and synchronize with my T750i,
the mobile gets the appointment both at the right day AND the day after.
Is there a fix to this?
Thanks

This is probably because that model is so new that it is not known by any
synchroization program ;-)
Justy kidding, I assume you meant K750i. I think the problem is the All-day
event feature. I have noticed similar problems with Ericsson/SonyEricsson
phones I have/had; T39m, T68i, K700i, K800i. It seems like the
synchronization protocol is not correct alltogether when it comes to other
types of appointments than regular meetings with start and end times. The
phone simply does not handle allday events properly. Other areas of problems
are repeated metings and meetings scheduled by other persons than yourself
in Outlook. Those are not handled correctly either. It is possible that
different sync programs will function better or less, so it might be an idea
to test some other programs for syncronization. If you use Bluetooth, the
bluetooth built-in PIM synchronization differs a bit from the SonyEricsson's
Communication Suite in the way records are synchronized, for example.
Try to change your appointment from whole day to 00:01 to 23:59 in Outlook.

Thanks for your answer!
Yes, I meant a K750i. I 'm not so into all those phone models.
Well, I also tried to synchronize through XTNDConnect, but then all my
contacts and a lot of appointments got doubled up.
So I had to clean the phone entirely and copy everything down from the PC
again.
- it shall apparently enough not be that easy --
Best regards

I think SonyEricsson ended the "T" prefix with the model T630, which is a
successor of the popular model T610. The "T" prefix was a legacy from the
time before Sony and Ericsson joined their mobile phone businesses, e.g.
T18, T39, T68.
After that, sonyEricsson introduced the Z-series which stands for
clamshells, the K-series for camera and multi purpose "candybar" style, W
for walkman, P for "smartphones" and J for middle/low-end Java-enabled.

I have experienced that too. Also, I have experienced contacts being removed
without questions.

Right, so have I.

No, apparently not.

All day events created in my copy of Outlook XP actually show up on my K750i
as All day events for the 1st time but I'm using a recent version (Sony
Ericsson PC Suite v1.20.173) than was supplied. This copy came from a fairly
new W810i & is much better than the last one I used. The K750i itself can't
create these events though.
All PIMs seem to require end times as if users only need them for business
meetings or appointments. The more normal amongst us often only need
reminders with unspecified or unneeded end times! It was quite revolutionary
to have all day entries that I use as a diary. I used to have Time & Chaos
as a PIM which in many ways was far more useable than Outlook.
