I bought this cellular phone and it is great but my excitement was killed
first time when I experienced this battery problem. Here is what happened.
I have charged battery full and everything goes fine until I spend about 50
% of battery capacitiy. Indicator of the battery shows that it has 50 % more
power but all of the sudden, usually when I receive a call or dial one, I
get message "YOUR BATTERY IS EMPTY" and all power dissapear !!!!
On the beginning I thought this is happening because the battery is still
not formatted correctly but unfortunatelly that happened all the time.
Now, I gave a phone to the service and they reformatted battery and update
software. After 7 days I got my phone back and they convinced me that
everything is ok now.
Guess what ..... IT HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN !!!
I am becoming desperate now
Please let me know if somebody have similliar problem and if there is
anything I can do.
Thank you.

Re: T610 battery problem
I got my phone the day before yesterday and I charged it according to the
manual (charge for approx. 4 hours or until the battery meter is full).
Since I was eager to play with my newest tech-thingy I waited for 4 hours
and then took the cable out of the phone. The meter was still flickering on
the last section when I did so but the manual said "at least 4 hours" so...
Anyway, the battery ran low that day and then died. So I charged the phone
powered off overnight, and this time the phone lasted about 48 hours with
normal calling and playing with GPRS and camera. On SE's site it is stated
that the phone will have capacity for up to 14 hrs of talk or 315 hrs in
stand-by. I do realize that it says "up to", but this cannot be normal. Can
it? It's not like I used constantly it for 7 hrs a day those two days.

Re: T610 battery problem
Also, my battery charges up to the very last bit of the meter pretty
quickly, but then it stands there on the last stage and charges for a looong
time. Why is this?

Re: T610 battery problem
The first 70% goes very quickly, it's the last 30% that takes time and
that's normal.

Re: T610 battery problem
Make sure that the background light is set to shut off when not in use. The
315 hrs you refer to is when the phone is not in use. Once you start playing
with it, the hrs go decreases drastically. I have a P800 myself and it only
lasts a couple of days when it's being normally used.
