I have recently bought myself a Sony-Ericsoon T610 which is on the
Vodafone network. Every time I use the browser my phone cuts off
completely after a couple of minutes. The screen will stay blank for
30 seconds - a minute then I it asks me to enter the phone lock code.
Is this due to a faulty battery or is it down to bad programming on
the phone's chips? Thanks in advance.

this is not common behaviour, go and exchange it for a new one.

I phoned my local Vodafone shop and told them of my problem. They
told me to take the mobile into the shop and they would send it away
to be repaired and it will take between 8-10 days. I bought my mobile
from Argos but lost my reciept so can't take it back there I explained
this to the guy from the Vodafone shop and he said it would'nt be a
problem if I took it to the Vodafone shop as they'll know when the
phone was purchased etc. I'll take it to them on Saturday and see
    what they say. Thanks.
