Maybe we could get the power grid fixed if every politician
regulating the power companies wasn't on their payrolls.

As a matter of fact, a while ago, I ordered some batteries and
faceplates from one of the Ebay storefronts. When my order arrived, I
found a whole wad of these things in the box.
Basically, they were being used as packing material.
(I did try one, and it didn't seem to make a bit of difference)

Is that no-code Extra ;-) Keep your Advanced; it proves you STILL can do
20+WPM.

Re: FS: Cell Phone boosters for sale
Nope....WB4THE passed 13wpm in 1967. Big deal, huh? I haven't used
it since.....Who cares?
Advanced was 13wpm code, btw.....not 20.
I was KN4IM on Advanced for many years. Brought Charleston's call
home when I made Extra in that little window before they ditched the
old test for the new.
I told 'em 30 years ago code would go away. We just had to wait for
the ARRL to die so common sense could prevail. Looks like we waited
long enough!

Re: FS: Cell Phone boosters for sale
And now with IRLP becoming so popular on UHF repeaters its so easy to
make nationwide and global contacts without resorting to HF. Kinda
takes all of the fun out chasing DX, but it does give me a reason not to
install an HF antenna on my Sportrac. :-)
