P800 Problems

My son in law has recently bought a P800 which he is really pleased with.
Only problem is he can't sync with his PC. He has installed PC Suite 1.5.1
and this recognises the Sync Station OK but when he places the P800 into the
cradle then nothing happens. What is he doing wrong? His PC runs Windows ME.
Installation of the Sync Station drivers gives him a choice of 2, which
should he install?

Make sure the P800 is switched to PC CONNECTION in the Connections/Cable
Control Panel.
