I have trouble synchronizing outlook calander with my P800. I
downloaded the latest version 1.5.1 of the PC link software, but to no
avail. There is no problem with synchronizing the contacts, only with
the calender. I switched of my virsuscanner and firewall, but it does
    not change a thing.

I bought the P800 so I had a calander and phone in one...

    Any hints?

I've found that I get the opportunity to control the sync only if I have
Outlook open at the time of connection.

    Re: cannot synchronize outlook calander

I had *exactly* this problem last week when I first tried.

I found I had to set Outlook to be my default email client. I also upgraded
the drivers as well as the sync software. Then it all started working -
bloody annoying having to flip between Outlook and Outlook Express as
    default mail clients though...

In another newsgroup I found the tip to repair outlook with the repair
function in Tools. You need the Office CD... and it works.
I now can synchronize my P800 without trouble.
