T610 Advice Please

Just recently got one of these phones and asked Orange to 'port' my old number
over to it. All was Ok and a week later all calls made to my old number were
being received on the t610.

The only problem is that when I look at the phone status it is showing the
temporary number that Orange gave me! I understand that this doesn't affect
calls etc but it's just one of those niggling things.

Does any one know how I can change this - is it a master reboot thing?

It's stored on the SIM card, it will probably need a SIM update from
Orange to change it. If you have had one and have not power cycled the
phone you will see the old number until you do.
