Just got a couple of "King of Double Card" (poss. Chinese or Taiwanese?)
dual SIM holders for the T610....But can I get them work? Can I buggery!!!
Apart from what seems like the immpossible task of fitting the damn
things in the phone ("we've got 2,500 people using them - just fold the
connecting strip around the battery" said the man from Solware in
Birmingham "it's a tight fit"...) No ****! IT WON'T GO ON!! Already
started chewing up that connector strip trying to get the damn thing on.
I can't see how it can be done!
Tried using the thing with the back off, but it only worked very
occassionally - regardless of the amount of time between reboots.
Sometimes the same SIM would be connected repeatedly, sometimes I got
"Insert SIM"...
AAARRRGGGHHHH!
I need a drink..

Why would you need something like this anyway?

Go back where you bought the thing and have them show you how to do it.
Or, you could have more drinks until you succeed, or at least believe you
have.

Re: Anyone using a dual SIM holder w/T610?
Using similar on my T68i so can't help you on the physical side.
Although it's a tight fit here also.
But in terms of switching. The timing and duration of your ON and OFF
key presses have an effect on the dual sim electronics. You'll need to
play a bit and will get the hang of it. Yes, it's temperamental but it
works if you get the hang of it.
Yep, I needed a few drinks when I first got mine too.

Mine said 3 seconds on the packaging. My T68 doesn't like it
if you try to switch off too soon after turning on.

And similarly b/n switching off and then back on. The circuit seemed to
want to take its time over these procedures.
