Need help with my new V400 just purchased through Cingular. Had an address book, not just a phone book, on my Nokia. This new V400 doesn't appear to have anything you can add other information like account numbers and addresses.

Also, my Nokia had a PC sync software called Fonesync. This new v400 doesn't have anything and I need to purchase something ASAP to enhance the phonebook to a contact profile (like outlook) and be able to sync my contacts.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Motorola cell address books leave a lot to be desired. You wont find
these fields in the V400 address book.

Mobile Phone Tools works great for me. You can purchase from the
Motorola web site (around $30), or do a search in this group and there
may be a link to where you can d/l it for free.

I got mobilesync free from the motorla website. If you go to http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/hell.../hellomoto.htm click on support then data connectivity under product support you can get the upgrade for free and you dont need to have a prev. version

thanks for the suggestion. i have downloaded the mpt and using for the pc to phone connection. it will not accept the fields for an address contact book. only name/phone/email. this is eventhough mpt shows them but the phone side doesn't accept these fields. thanks anyway.

I figured the experts in this forum may have some type of application you could download to the phone to provide this. I am sort of new at phone apps.
