    It may or may not help, depending on the antenna and problem.
    For products, see:

    * Andrew Corporation
    <http://www.antenna.com/

    * CellAntenna Corporation
    <http://www.cellantenna.com/

    * Wilson Electronics
    <http://www.wilsonelectronics.com/

    You need the correct type of antenna or repeater for your phone.

    John - nice to hear from you. been reading your writings for many years.
    thanks for the referrals. seems like it would be cheaper in the long run to
    change carriers if i could get out of my contract. tmobile, without
    informing me, extended my contract for a year when i went from regional plan
    to national plan for two weeks. what a group. my problem is real marginal,
    inconsistent coverage at home and now at new office.
    thanks for the response.

    Hey Irv;
    I just purchased an ARC Freedom antenna for my new Motorola V300. It's
    shown at:

    http://www.antennas.com/arcProduct.html

    I also purchased the necessary adapter to fit this antenna to my V300.
    The purchase was made via DiscountCell. I'm truly amazed at the
    increase in reception strength! The only downside is that the antenna
    is a bit bulky for on-the-go use, but still this can be done. For
    stationary use in an office or the like, it is absolutely fantastic.
    Irv, good luck with your antenna search for your Motorola V300.
