    On a previous non-flip phone that I had, if I didn't want to take a call I
could immediately send it to voicemail by pressing the end button. Is there
any way to do this on the V3 without opening the flip which answers the
call? I couldn't find anything in the manual which describes this action.

    Thanks, Steve

That silences the ringer but doesn't send the call to voicemail

With my V3, I have it setup so the open to answer option is
turned off. When the phone rings it gives me the option on the screen
to IGNORE. That sends the call to voice mail... but you still have to
    flip it open.

If you hit one of the volume keys on the outer flip, it will mute the ring, then it will roll to voicemail after the preset number of rings.
