    What is the thought process involved in offering this fone in a chinese and euro edition with TRI BAND ? Is the hardware capable of QUAD BAND so a simple seem edit or hack will allow the end user to enable the 4th band for international travel ? Huh ??

    I actually own this phone and I bought it in Hong Kong, I have
    homes in Thailand and Canada and the phone works great in both
    places.. on Rogers in Canada and AIS in Thailand.. now if only
    I could figure out how to get the data connection working on
    Rogers...

    Hi, If you have any success let us know. I bought the V6 maxx from ebay
    unlocked to UK providers but I cannot get a data connection either so can
    only use the phone for calls and SMS at the moment.
