I recently was had to replace a computer and could not find what I
wanted with Microsoft XP on it so was obliged to go with Vista. Don't
like it for several reasons, but guess I'll get used to it.
Unfortunately, I've found that I use several programs that Vista gags
at!! One such is my Motorola Phone tools. When I tried to load it up
from the disk Ive used before - it seemed to load OK, but then it
couldn't find an appropriate driver for my KRAZR V3 telephone. It went
on line and fiddled around awhile, said it couldn't find the correct
image. Now when I plug it in and try to use it it goes to "Phone Setup"
and just sits there and runs.

Any suggestions?? How about it John - there has got to be a quick fix to
this. Everything works fine on my old desktop.

    HELP!!

One word about XP, it IS still available from Dell on their Small
Business line, i.e Vostro. You have to pay $99 and you get BOTH XP Pro
loaded/running and Vista ready to load "when you're ready" which will
    probably be never for me.

You will and you'll probably like it once you do.

You didn't say if it's 32 bit or 64 bit Vista, the drivers are
different and you'll need the later versions of MPT to work in Vista,
    version 5.0 or later.

    Drivers are here: http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers/

You'll have to find MPT on your own, some earlier versions won't update
to the later 5.x versions (don't know why?)
