Hi. I am new to ring tones. Are the ring tone codes for the T730 the same as
for the T720? And other Motorola phones? I've looked at some downloads and
they don't work right or make sense to me. I'll keep working on it but I am
not finding much basic information about coding ring tones. I found a
generator I am going to play with. The T730 CD doesn't play so I don't know
if there is more information there. Thanks for any insight. Ray

    Ray,
I just got a T730 and am new to the tone thingie also. Is there an
application that will take an MP3 or somesuch and turn it into a polyphonic
ring tone that I can text message to my phone? I's like to get some stuff
from my son's band onto the phone. Seems easy enough as I say it, but
nothing is difficult for the person that does not have to do it. ;-)

My CD goes to a Verizon page that is not available. The stuff on the CD
works OK but I really can't get anything on the tones. So I came here. I
figured there would be a band of pirates giving out tones and viruses to all
    comers.

I've seen the mention of some converters but I don't think there is anything
like that. But if the music is written you should be able to use a composer
or generator, or even manually. If you can figure it out.
