Iden Update Application Not Showing HTML Page?

Is anyone else having a problem where the iden update application dows
not connect to the moto server to be able to use it and when you pull up
the app it show the dns server unreachable internet explorer screen?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have webjal installed? if so go to control panel and remove the
webjal patch...then try idenupdate again...after you can reinstall the
patch ;-)

I used to have it installed but uninstalled it when I started to use
myjal, but remembering how that other patch worked I looked in the host
file and took out the idenupdate.motorola.com line which fixed the
problem I was having.

Okay now after 1 reboot of the pc with the host file still clean it is
now back to the way it was not able to find the server. NE ideas?

Hmm rebooting shouldn't made it stop workin. I would check the host
file again and look through the registry at
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Motorola\ISL and make sure its not pointing
to the local machine and is http://idenupdate.motorola.com.....whatever

otherwise nope sorry
