any tips on how to transfer a contract? Also, I need to keep my number and
port it to another carrier, any tips on this as well? I like nextel it's
just that my business is taking to areas where nextel has no coverage and is
mostly roaming so I need to be able to make calls and an additional phone is
not economical. thanks.

Re: transfer contract
Normally when you port your number it will cancel your existing contract.
You might be able to port your number, which will cancel the contract, and
then call Nextel up and get them to reinstate your old contract with a new
phone number. Then you can transfer ownership of that contract to someone
else.
It might work, and it's certainly worth a try.
