I tried to order a 930 but was told that I could not buy one because I was
in a partners market. The Partners rep told me that they were not permitted
to sell the phone. Partners told me to call Nextel and order it from them.
I called Nextel and they said that as an existing customer, I could only buy
one if I opened up a new account, which isn't an option for me. A local
Nextel store, in the Partners market, said that he could sell me one at full
price but not at the G rate, which is what I qualify for.
Any way to get around this?
Nextel quoted me a price of $240 or so, but the local store wanted $400. I
called Nextel to place the order and that is when they said they could not
sell me the phone, unless I opened a new account.
