Would a i58 being larger and with a stronger battery get better
    reception than a 190? I have a i90 and sometimes it's reception is bad
so I was thinking of getting the bigger stronger (hopefully) i58. Any
    advice would be appreciated.

I can't speak to the technology itself... I have an i90c (Girlfriend
uses at the moment) and an i55sr (mine), and in our office my i55sr goes
in and out of service somewhat randomly, the i90c stays out of service
most/all of the time in the same physical location.
